Analyze V-22 Aircraft / Weapon System engineering data and operational support criteria to define customer support facilities infrastructure and related system site activation requirements. Research commercial and Government standards and codes to ensure compatibility with defined system support requirements. Develop comprehensive documentation to detail weapon system support facilities, equipment, and related resources requirements. Produce Aircraft / Weapon System Facilities Requirements Documents for Typical Shorebased and Shipboard Sites. Participate in domestic and foreign Site Surveys to evaluate customer site facilities and supporting infrastructure compatibility to support system site activation. Prepare Site Evaluation Reports to document analysis of support facilities and related resources, define deficiencies and identify corrective actions, and provide recommendations for new or modified facilities resources. Provide on-site support to validate and verify installation utilities interface. Participate in Site Activation and Technical Coordination Meetings. Develop Site Activation Plans and provide technical coordination to ensure customer support facilities, equipment, and related required resources are adequate to support Aircraft / Weapon System site activation Beneficial Occupancy Date.

Aircraft Maintenance
Complete knowledge of customer aircraft maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources) in order to effectively represent the customer within the company.

Architecture Engr & Constr
Complete knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and practices related to civil/structural systems, equipment, and components. Understanding of Building codes, Department of Defense (DOD) specs, and Fire Protection Association/National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure requirements.

Electrical Engr & Constr
Complete knowledge of electrical engineering theories (e.g., Kirchoff's Law, Ohm's Law, lighting, power factor, control theory), formula selection (e.g., room cavity ratios, short-circuit, voltage drop, motor counts, capacitor, harmonic correction, load calculations), and methods (e.g., relay coordination, Root Cause Analysis), and National Electrical Code (NEC) as they apply to buildings and equipment.

Professional Writing
Complete ability to write clear, compelling prose in different styles, voices, and tones to most effectively communicate to multiple audiences. Complete ability to apply highly developed knowledge of writing skills to various communication materials (e.g., news releases, news and feature articles, promotional materials, brochures, web communications, presentations, speeches) to meet customer requirements.

Typical Education/Experience



Bachelor's and related work experience, a Master's degree and related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Other Job related information



The ideal candidate should have experience with Marine Corps rotorcraft maintenance with general familiarity of the MV-22 aircraft. The individual must possess excellent analytic and writing skills, and have excellent interpersonal and customer-relations skills. The individual must be available for domestic and foreign travel, and possess the ability to complete local and remote assignments without direct supervision. Military or Commercial Aircraft Operational Support background and familiarity with all Integrated Logistics Support Elements are desired. The candidate should also have proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Autocad, Photoshop, and SQL (Structured Query Language) database languages. The individual must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
