This position is as a member of the Chinook Mission Systems Analysis & Integration Team (AIT).

Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic system requirements. Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Makes recommendations for technology investments.

Required skills are in communication and/or network systems design.

Desired skills should include one or more of the following:
Demonstrated knowledge of communications and network concepts and principles;
Demonstrated ability for communications and network system design from architecture development to component design;
Designing & integrating secure communications;
Designing for radio frequency compatibility.

Complete knowledge of computing equipment and its operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix, Linux). Complete knowledge of software development and testing tools (e.g., editors, compilers, linkers, desktop simulations, configuration management tools, requirements management tools) capability and usage. Typical Education/Experience



Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's proven experience, Master's degree experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and proven experience, Master's with experience or PhD with experience.
