Engine Technician-Flight Line Support

Position Description:

Inspects tests, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and overhauls aircraft engines related systems and components using appropriate military and commercial directives. Performs on-the-job training in accordance with RSAF directives.

Competencies:

• Able to use applicable maintenance technical date, interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles as applied to engines, their components and related equipment, engine maintenance procedures, concepts and applications of maintenance and maintenance documentations procedures.
• Performs all aspects of aircraft engine and shop maintenance as required by pertinent technical directives.
• Specialized knowledge of CFM56 or F108 modular engine maintenance is desirable.

Typical Education/Experience:

• A minimum of four (4) years engine maintenance experience on the CFM56. Skill level must be comparable to USAF 7 level.
