Performs routine, recurring financial activities for the collection, processing, recording and distribution of financial data. Reviews financial data for compliance and verifies accuracy and completeness. Prepares and submits corrections for labor and materials charged to incorrect accounts. Prepares corporate check requests and uses company purchasing card to pay vendor invoices. Posts financial transactions into databases. Assists more experienced personnel in audits of employee time keeping. Assists in the conversion to paperless storage of financial records. Responds to routine customer inquiries related to accounting transactions that require some explanation or interpretation. Performs other duties in support of accounting activities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software highly desirable. Works under general supervision.

Typical Education/Experience

 

High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Job related information

 

Requires the ability to obtain an interim clearance pre-start and final clearance post-start. No relocation assistance.
