Hong Kong Aircrew Officers Associations is the trade union for Pilots and Flight Engineers employed by Cathay Pacific Ltd. The only trade union body that continues to be recognised by the airline, its goal is to protect the interests of its 1,700 members, regulate relations between members and their employers and secure unity of action.

Reporting to the President and General Committee, you will hold the most senior executive post in the organisation. It will, therefore, be very much your focus to lead the Association through the next stage of its development. Pursuing its mission and objectives, as well as managing its programmes and resources, you will act as CEO and chief negotiator, offering unparalleled strategic direction and a truly hands-on approach.

Your significant leadership experience will ideally have been gained within a regulated industry in either a union administration role, or in personnel management, employment law or marketing communications. What’s certain is that you’ll have an outstanding strategic perspective, keen advocacy skills, a wealth of public speaking experience and strong track record in formal negotiations.
