Ground Instructor

Our client was established in 2002, with the express purpose of offering high standard flight training for military and civilian customers within the Middle East, furthermore it was decided that such an academy would be based in the UAE. Their facilities comprises of modern hangars, classrooms, briefing rooms, library, office complex and internal IT systems for computer and internet based training.
The all year round sunny skies and weather conditions offer fewer days lost due to poor weather and the terrain has the additional benefit of presenting many opportunities for limited power scenarios, mountain flying, and desert training conditions.
With a multinational team of instructors our client combines the knowledge and expertise of professionals who have been in the aviation industry for many years, to offer safe, skilled and quality flight instruction in a highly professional and enjoyable way. They deliver flight training, offering both Fixed Wing and Helicopter Pilot Courses, according to the Europe Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) style curriculum (ISO 9001 – 2000 Awarded).
Due to ever increasing demand for training, they now seek to recruit a number of high caliber positions including a Helicopter Chief Flying Instructor, Helicopter Flight Instructor, Fixed Wing Flight Instructor and Ground Instructor

Qualifications:
* Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (preferably Aerospace Engineering)
*Must have ten years experience of aviation (maintenance/engineering/teaching)
* Five years experience as ground instructor in a reputed aviation organization
* Experience of teaching the JAA curriculum to CPL and ATPL students (fixed wing and rotary wing)
* Profound practical and theoretical knowledge of aero-engines and aircraft systems
* Preferably in-depth concepts of aerodynamics (fixed wing as well as rotary wing) are also required.
* Any flying experience is a major plus.

* Attractive tax free remuneration package for the Ground Instructor is offered with accommodation allowance AED 4,900 pm

* Education Allowance for the Ground Instructor and their family - to cover the education allowance up to Dhs. 15000 for 3 children, considering the followings:
- Child should attend a full time kindergarten, primary, intermediate & secondary schools
- The eligible child should not be less than 3 years of age NSD UP to 19.
- Nursery, summer school, swimming classes, music classes, or special tuition instructions are not included
- The school fees are limit to: - admission fees, tuition fees, examination fees, prescribed textbook& stationary, school uniform,
transportation
- Employee joining during the school term will be reimbursed on pro-rata basis
* Furniture allowance for the Ground Instructor - AED 12,000 (one time payment) to be paid after completion of the probation period
* End of Service Gratuity for the Ground Instructor - 30 days basic salary for every completed year of service
* Holiday entitlement for the Ground Instructor - 42 days annually
* Repatriation flights for the Ground Instructor and their family - Annually an economy fare allowance
