Operational Excellence: Standards, compliance and governance. Enable all in-country operations to be compliant with company policy and local regulatory requirements by working with the respective service delivery and functional leaders. Liaison between Boeing, local government and businesses as required in support of local laws and regulations (payroll tax/VAT audits, property taxes, etc.) Single point of contact for Support Services to employees and Assignees in Qatar. Engage and coordinate with in-country Business Partners to identify their requirements and to escalate issues. Integrate and coordinate the deployment of Corporate services and support, i.e. Corporate Tax, Global Corporate Citizenship, CVP executive support, HR Services. Maintain service standards and identify opportunities for lean. Finance & Site Operations (including daily office support). Participate and support the development and implementation of business plans, initiatives and strategies. Prepare and manage performance to plan for local office costs (Business Management). Coordinate services including but not limited to Site Services, Global Mobility, Payroll and Employee Services, Payment Services (Center), maintaining check register/book to record BQI related expenses Perform in-country procurements as authorized by Supplier Management. Support & manage facilities, administrative, staff and business functions Assist day to day operations per direction from Country Manager. Support and coordinate executive and non-executive visits, conferences and other special events. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Arabic (including translation services). Management, leadership, employee development and support to the local administrative staff .

- general understanding of incountry laws and regulations on employment, finance - general understanding of US GAAP and Qatar Accounting standards - ability to work in a virtual environment - experience to work for a service organization - Ability to deploy the organization s strategy to meet incountry service delivery requirements to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services in Qatar

Typical Education/Experience

 

Preferred college degree (Finance background preferred); additional Management degree (or MBA equivalent) preferred. Experience of 8-10 years working in similar positions, MNC preferred.
