THIS REQUISITION IS FOR A ONE YEAR CONTRACT AS AN INTERNATIONAL, LOCALLY HIRED PERSON. Contract extension will be based on candidate performance and business requirements. Japan local support for 787 work packages. Performs supplier on site support and project management related to production execution and supplier performance. Responsible for execution and support of 787 Partner activities. Participates in and develops mechanisms for establishing, monitoring & integrating project elements including activity tracking, production support, product support and program visibility. Uses data to manage performance, coordinate actions and ensure timely execution. The candidate will be responsible for interface, tracking and execution of daily actions. Formulates and executes actions such as parts availability and tracking, production status and change execution. Interfaces with management and specialists from other functional disciplines to provide leadership and coordination in support of Program execution. Responsible for program data analysis & maintaining detailed status reports to communicate status, improvement, risk mitigation plans & progress to stakeholders. Multiple positions available with individual skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: 1) Procurement and Supply Chain Support; 2) Change Management; 3) Production Support.
Other duties and responsibilities are assigned by management.

Independently identifies project resource requirements, integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Collaborates with others on the most complex projects assigned. Typical Education/Experience

 

Bachelor's degree and typically 5-8 years' related work experience or a Master's degree with 2 to 4 years' related work experience. Professional level English language capability required. Bi-lingual (Japanese/English) capability desired. Experience and knowledge of multi-cultural work environments with emphasis on Japanese-American. This is a local assignment in Nagoya, Japan.
