ICS (I.T.) STANDARDS MANAGER - UAE - AIRPORT I.T.
Our client is a major international airports company in the Middle East.
The Role:
The role holder is responsible to establish technology standards and policies working with other IT teams and establish and administer supplier framework agreements related to it. This position would also standardise IT contract resource engagement as well through framework agreements and facilitate the resource augmentation needed for the existing and new airport related IT work.
Main Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain IT standards working with other teams.
• Liaising with Procurement and Legal depts., establish and administer the supplier contracts. Establish framework agreements for IT components which are expected to be purchased in high volume, based on a 3 year rolling forecast.
• Manage and track all procurement and RFP requests originating from ICS and ensure that sourcing is done in line with Standards and through existing framework agreements. Negotiate with the originator or non-standard requests and provide alternate standard solutions.
• Ensure the compliance of supplier to the terms of the contract. Manage the performance of the suppliers through service reviews and manage improvement initiatives.
• Provide monthly reports on requisition performance. Keep the request to delivery time frame to as minimum as possible through innovative approaches
• Establish resource framework agreements and facilitate the IT contract-resource requests for projects and for operations. Ensure that processes are in place to manage contract resource requests, selection from established resourcing suppliers, file timesheets and to support accounting related to the contract resource engagement
• Manage the team assigned
Minimum requirements
• UAE National preferred or if an expat, then work experience in the UAE is essential
• Proven experience in IT with a good understanding of the IT landscape including hardware, network and software
• Proven experience in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement and managing IT suppliers
• Proven experience at management level in a corporate, with the experience of managing a team
• Contract management experience
• Financial accounting awareness
