ILS Engineer

We have a new requirement for an ILS Engineer to join us in Cambridge on a permanent basis

The main purpose of this role will be to undertake ILS tasks in accordance with requirements to ensure all requirements are exceeded.

Main duties to include:
• To undertake ILS tasks in accordance with Def-Stan 00-60 and customer specifications
• To identify any problem areas of design and recommend alternative solutions
• To undertake reliability tasks in accordance with Def-Stan 00-40 and 00-41
• To identify areas of poor reliability in the design and recommend improvements or alternative solutions
• To populate the Logistic Support Analysis Records with the analysis carries out in accordance with Def Stan 00-60
• To provide support to internal departments in writing ILS plans for tender proposals

We are looking for applicants who have previous experience of working within an ILS environment and from an engineering background. A strong knowledge of ILS, Reliability and maintainability along with health, safety and environmental legislation requirements will also be required.
