The Boeing Company has Summer 2010 Intern opportunities in Supplier Management at the St. Louis, MO location. The internship program begins at the conclusion of a college student's Junior academic year to engage students in specific work assignments as well as group activities throughout the summer. Summer Internships are available in our Procurement Business organization. Procurement Agents are responsible for obtaining the goods and services for the company as well as managing the supply chain with all supplier related activities. In this position, you will work closely with the Procurement Agents and other team members, as well as with internal customers to understand, integrate and assure documentation of requirements. You will develop request for quotations and proposals, analyze supplier responses, participate in negotiations and subcontract awards and maintain subcontracts for the management of the relationship between Boeing and the suppliers. You will assist in managing supplier performance and ensuring satisfactory subcontract completion.

Candidates (college students with Junior status and scheduled to graduate before August 2011) are required to demonstrate a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. Clearly state your cumulative GPA and month/year of graduation in your resume. Intern assignments begin when your school recesses for the Summer in 2010. The typical summer intern period runs from the second week of May through the first week in August.
