I.T. ACCOUNT MANAGER (AIRLINES & AIRPORTS) - UAE - AIRPORT I.T.
Our client is a major international airports company in the Middle East.
The Role:
The role holder manages the assigned customer accounts at the airport which would include administration of the customer contracts, managing service levels, providing and selling new solutions, negotiating price/terms and billing the customer. This position also would liaise with various teams within ICS to deliver service needed for the customer.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the assigned customer accounts and maintain a good relationship with them. Keep up to date with IT landscape at Airport and act as a trusted adviser to Airport tenants and Airlines.
• Negotiate and enter into contracts with the customers and ensure that service levels and timely billing are managed
• Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for customers or for improving Airport processes and passenger experience. Manage IT aspects of the airport and drive for high customer satisfaction from passengers. Manage initiatives to maintain high ASQ ratings. Provide feedback for airport specific solutions.
• Produce monthly reports for customers and conduct monthly service reviews with the customers and ensure that all issues are addressed to the customers’ satisfaction in a timely manner.
• Manage the IT portfolio funded by the customers. Manage Projects related to customers in the absence of an assigned Project Manager.
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to provide services and to deliver projects for the customers. Provide feedback on performance of other teams to their line managers.
• Manage the team assigned and processes related to customer account management.
Minimum requirements
• UAE National preferred or if an expat, then work experience in the UAE is essential
• Proven experience in IT
• Proven experience in Airport and Airline related domains
• Proven experience in customer account management related to Airport/Airline IT
• Project management experience
• Contract management experience
• Financial accounting awareness
• Airline/Airport domain knowledge
