Using Lean+ principles the successful candidate will lead, facilitate and implement continuous process improvements with the UK Rotorcraft organisation. The overall responsibilities include is providing leadership, facilitation, guidance, communication and instruction to the team. Delivers presentations, training material, updates instructional materials and Mentors future instructors and less experienced practitioners. Applies knowledge of support disciplines (such as Inventory Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Safety and Supply Chain Management) to research and implement innovative processes in support of the UK Rotorcraft organisation deliverables and strategic plans. Establish the business cases in support of these efforts. Support advanced continuous improvement tool application including lean assessing and consulting. Create enhancements to existing improvement tools. Supports the development and deployment of new tools and provides feedback to the developers

Ability to facilitate and have experience in leading multi-discipline and multi-site teams focused on continuous improvements through the use of Lean+ tools such as Accelerated Improvement Workshops, Value Stream Maps, Six Sigma and 5S.

Typical Education/Experience
The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate having worked with internal and external stakeholders, facilitation of complex process improvements, identification of risks and opportunities for improvements and will be able to work independently or in a team environment. With highly developed communication, decision making, leadership, interpersonal and team building skills. Knowledge and experience with Lean+ including Employee Involvement Teams is advantageous. Must have the flexibility to travel to other UK sites, 50%.
