Job Description:
Direct, coordinate and monitor all maintenance/material actions necessary to retain or restore aircraft, material, equipment or components to a serviceable condition with a minimum expenditure of resources in the most efficient practical manner. Will Release Aircraft Safe for Flight, monitor maintenance SCIR documentation via the NALCOMIS system, review Aircraft Weight and Balance forms for accuracy, direct scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions to meet operational tasking identified by the government/flight schedule.
Experience and Qualifications:
- In-depth working knowledge of VX-31 Aircraft Modification Instruction process, Advanced Weapons Laboratory procedures, and VX-31 Schedules Meeting.
- High School graduate and have completed the Navy Class "C" for Maintenance Material Control Management.
- Minimum 10 years of US Navy or US Marine Corps Organizational Level aircraft maintenance experience with includes 1 year of Maintenance Control experience in the applicable VX-31 T/M/S aircraft they are assigned to support.
- Shall have worked in an Organizational Level Maintenance Control within the last year with the designation to Release Aircraft Flight/Safe For Flight.
- Be eligible to qualify for a Secret Level Clearance.
