Role – Network Design Engineer

The Network Design Engineer will work within the Network Design Engineering team on specified projects and will report functionally to the Functional Manager within the Network Design Engineering Department. Specific tasks will be allocated by senior design engineers, the project technical lead and/or Technical Manager as appropriate.

A Network Design Engineer is expected to be knowledgeable in the field and able to apply previous knowledge and experience to network design tasks. This role is for a CISCO CCNA/CCDA certified individual with experience of being part of a network design team. Data network design experience of secure LANS & WANS, with a good understanding of COTS products pertinent to data networks is required. In addition to a record of personal contributions regarding the interpretation of network requirements from translation to design.
