Prepares Priced Bill of Material estimates and performs management reviews. Coordinates the statement of work requirements with engineering and procurement organizations. Develops estimates from historical data and conducts risk analysis of material estimates. Coordinates and interfaces with subcontractors, Supplier Management and other functional organizations to analyze the material cost and schedule data for team, contracts and projects. Prepares documentation as required and ensures documentation is in compliance with Boeing policies and procedures, government and regulatory agency requirements Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR, DFAR) and customer requirements. Assists in preparing pricing instructions, pricing matrices and detailed bid instructions for Request for Quote/ Proposal. Assists in the coordination of statement of work requirements with engineering and procurement and in performing risk analysis for Material Estimates. Ensures documentation is in compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures and regulations. Works under general direction. The more senior estimator will recognize and address material estimate anomalies and issues. Develops and extrapolates estimates from historical data. Performs associated risk analysis and conveys related findings. Leads teams and trains personnel in the coordination and interface with subcontractors, Supplier Management and other functional organizations to analyze the material cost and schedule data for team, contracts and projects. Coordinates across multiple business units and sites for metrics analysis and reporting, makes recommendations and corrective actions, root cause analysis. Writes, reviews and edits policy and procedures. Leads teams for common system development, best practices and estimating system compliance. Monitors manpower and resources. Participates in or leads business planning activities and opportunity or risk reporting. Works under minimal direction.

Other Job related information
Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft products. Experience with Federal Acquisition process a plus
