Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements. Develops inspection and surveillance plans. Provides feedback and recommends solutions to ensure process compliance. Performs preliminary review and disposition of complex non-conformities. Coordinates and conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action. Provides expertise and leadership to customers and team members in all areas of product verification and acceptance. Prior experience working on Space Vehicle/Flight Hardware in a cleanroom environment is desired. Familiarity with GPS SV processing on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is a plus. This individual will be working closely with the customer team and will be required to communicate verbally and produce written reports to support our program.

Analysis and Corrective Action
Extensive knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action of non-conformances to reduce scrap, minimize rework, reduce cost and improve quality to meet all requirements. Develops, reviews and approves product definition data including emergent design changes.

Exp Hardware Inspect & Valid
Extensive and specialized knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques for the inspection and validation of mechanical test hardware components and assemblies (e.g. conventional gages and measurment tools, CMM, laser tracker, theodalites). Familiarity with associated validation software for comparative analysis. Complete ability to document and report on results, and address descrepencies.

Repair Processes and Concepts
Extensive and specialized knowledge of one or more of the following functions: repair station processes, component repair concepts (e.g., operational, repair cycle, component condition, phased maintenance, quality requirements, turn around time), procedures (e.g., inspection, disassembly, re-assembly, testing, Integrated Manufacturing Control Systems [IMACS], manufacturing planning), warranty processes (e.g., root cause analysis), contractual agreements, and criteria (e.g., aircraft and maintenance history, product support assurance agreement, aircraft demographics).

Typical Education/Experience



High school diploma or GED and proven related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Other Job related information



This position requires the ability to obtain access to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Access to facility requires a background investigation by the U.S. Government authorities. You may be permitted access to the facility with an interim/temporary Air Force badge while your background investigation is ongoing; however, in the event that you are not granted access by the government authorities, or your access is not maintained, this will result in the termination of employment. This is a sensitive/safety position and is subjected to DOD random drug testing. You must be eligible to live and work in the U.S and obtain a Secret Clearance. Applicants include their security clearance level, investigation type and investigation dates clearly on their resume is a plus.
