We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead multi-site, multi-discipline integrated product teams for the Chinook TLCS Programme. The successful candidate will provide business leadership and Profit & Loss guidance for a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programme supporting the Ministry of Defense (MOD) customer by applying strong leadership skills & customer knowledge to create an environment of performance better-than-plan. Responsibilities include customer satisfaction, quality, cost, schedule, technical performance, maintenance management & developing new business for all aspects of the programme. Major responsibilities include day-to-day execution, programme status reporting, strategic planning, and customer rapport. The programme supports the United Kingdom MOD, Chinook Product Team (CHPT), based at RNAS Yeovilton. This position is located on the Vector Fleetlands site in Gosport, UK. Vector Aerospace is our major subcontractor/partner on TLCS maintenance and component repair. The position will report to the Managing Director of Boeing UK Rotorcraft Support, Army Integrated Logistics subdivision of Integrated Logistics. The successful candidate will also be required to develop an effective business strategy to remain cost competitive (and capability competitive) in order to lead integrated product teams (including such disciplines as Engineering, Maintenance & Modification Operations, Quality, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Management, Procurement, etc.) to focus on executing the programme plan with first time quality and satisfying all customer requirements (technical, quality, cost, schedule, etc.).

Typical Education/Experience

 

Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline or closely related technical field. Advanced degree in engineering or business is desirable. The successful candidate will be from a multi-disciplinary background with a proven track record of having demonstrated the key competences listed above. Experience of profit & loss Programme Management experience is required.

Position is located in Gosport, UK. Travel to manage distributed team and to provide appropriate leadership across the sites is required. Some travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA and other IDS Global Services & Support sites may be required.
