Quality Test Specialist

Candidates should be based in Northern Europe, preferably in Paris, France. Responsibilities: represents the company with suppliers to ensure that suppliers' quality system, processes and products meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations. Plans, organizes, and conducts onsite audits of Boeing procured special processes, materials, parts and assemblies. Applies knowledge of materials and special processes, in order to assess supplier capability and capacity to perform and comply with Boeing specifications, engineering documents or other contractual or purchase order requirements and applicable regulatory requirements. Applies technical expertise to be able to monitor, coach or recommend improvements to supplier to develop and maintain internal processes that are repeatable, cost effective, and environmentally friendly. Conducts training programs and coordinates company initiatives to improve supplier performance and productivity. Insures that suppliers document and maintain an approved Quality System to meet the appropriate company or customer requirements. Prepares, maintains, and reviews procurement quality procedures to ensure compliance with customer and government requirements. This position is for a highly self motivated individual working virtually. This is a field representative position and travel will be required.

Competencies

Candidate must meet the Boeing requirements for Visual Standards for Product Acceptance. Critical skills include good written and oral communication and problem solving skills. Extensive special process auditing experience. Strong computer skills. Strong technical background and knowledge of materials, both metallic and nonmetallic materials, and special processes, such as heat treatment of metals, welding, brazing, shot peening, chemical processes/finishes and coatings, composite hardware manufacturing processes, metal bonding processes, material destructive and nondestructive testing. Knowledge of supplier quality system requirements. Strong understanding of Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis and implementation of acceptable preventive action.

Typical Education/Experience

Prefer a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 9-13 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
