Highly skilled RAMS expert required for a Specialist role within a successful systems integration solutions provider.
You will need to be highly competent in undertaking and setting strategy for quantitive risk analysis as well as reliability and maintenance strategies, and have an in-depth knowledge of risk assessment techniques (e.g. RCM).
The position will involve covering all aspects of the safety life-cycle, incuding the following:
-Writing safety plans
-Chairing HAZOPs
-Identifying SIL's
-Performing causal and consequence analysis with FMEA, event-tree analysis etc.
-Working on independent safety assessment assignments
Candidates will need extensive proven working knowledge within a Safety and Reliability environment, and be a recognised expert within the critical systems arena. Industry sectors of relevance are: Rail, Nuclear, Aerospace, and Defence.
Additional requirements:
Familiarity and working knowledge of: RAMS, QRA, FMECA, FTA, & RCD
A sound appreciation of the underlying principles of safety engineering/management in a complex systems environment
Good communication skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively
