Boeing Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) Sales Director for Australia providing consultative engagement with operators of Boeing aircraft, to develop business and position Boeing services solutions, aircraft modifications and upgrades, and operational efficiency solutions that benefit the operators. The individual will report to the Regional Sales Director for the Asia Pacific Region. Strong and demonstrated project management, organizational, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are a must. Individual must be self-motivated, self-reliant and self-managing on the most part and focused on meeting sales performance metrics established annually for assigned customer accounts within the region. Integrity and ethical behavior as defined by Boeing policy is expected at all times. The position will require frequent travel to the accounts within the country and as assigned, to advance the sale of Boeing CAS Solutions, support Boeing Aircraft sales and develop relationships. Directs and leads the processes and people involved when promoting the sale of company products and services and during the maintenance and extension of company business. Develops and implements marketing strategies and action plans, including developing and presenting briefings to the customer. Manages or participates in the development of proposals, and negotiates business agreements. Develops relationships necessary to better understand the customer's needs and decision-making processes. Conveys the company's interests to the customer and the customer's requirements to company management. Will be directly responsible for achieving revenue and earnings business targets.

Typical Education/Experience

Experience in engineering and maintenance organization of an airline or aviation industry as a manager or director of technical operations or services. Previous marketing or sales experience would be extremely desirable. Bachelor's degree and proven related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desirable is a Master's degree or MBA. Fluency in English. Both written and spoken. Strong conversational skills in a consulting environment, as well as presentation, negotiating and active listening skills. Cultural sensitivity of the region, its people and the state of the airline/aviation development in the region.

Other Job related information

This position would require the candidate if hired to be initially placed on short-term assignment (3-5 months) in Seattle, Washington and Sydney, NSW to learn CAS Boeing processes, products, solutions, people and organization to be effective in the field. This requisition is an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be the citizen or legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
