Primary job duties and responsibilities are to perform manual and automated software testing for Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) Software releases. Records and tracks defects uncovered during the execution of tests cases. Independently executes test scripts based on planned project schedules. Experience in the development of test cases, writing scripts and test execution is required. Working knowledge of Radio Communication hardware and related test equipments strongly desired. Understanding of wireless protocols (IS-136, IS-95, cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE) is a strong plus. Digital Receiver Technology (DRT), based in Germantown, Maryland, designs and manufactures high performance receivers and transceivers for the wireless test, SIGINT, and law enforcement markets. DRT was acquired by The Boeing Company in December 2008.

Experience in software testing in an environment of GUI, Real-Time Embedded, and DSP Software development is highly desired.
