Interfaces with the supplier to enforce the terms and conditions of simple, firm fixed priced contracts with fixed quantity and delivery schedules. Establishes contract performance metrics, monitors supplier performance to contract terms and conditions, identifies problems and risks that could impact contract performance. Monitors established contract performance metrics. Creates simple, firm fixed priced contracts with fixed quantity and delivery schedules in business systems with negotiated terms and conditions. Uses established policies and procedures to satisfy customer requirements for goods and services within the limits of delegated purchasing authority. Develops and executes the negotiation plan for simple procurement activity in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Communicates with suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions to ensure equitable commitment is made in support of customer needs and goals. Develops and documents the source selection process on routine procurement activity to provide the best match of customer requirements with external supplier capabilities and offers. Follows established policies and procedures, market conditions and best practices to achieve best value for customer. Reviews simple printed reports or on-line data from multiple business systems to ensure data integrity with respect to quantity, schedule, inventory balances, order policy and compliance with established policies and procedures and local work instructions to create or modify buy authorization. Receives direct and detailed instructions for specific assignments. Identifies routine problems and coordinates correction of minor errors. Reports complex discrepancies to more experienced Supply Chain Procurement Agents for resolution. Seeks advice from more experienced Supply Chain Procurement Agents to develop mitigation plans to assure goods and services are delivered in accordance with contract terms.

Typical Education/Experience

 

Level 1 - Bachelor's degree. Level 2 - Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
