Coordinates and monitors activities to support provisioning and program product deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery of parts. Maintains accurate inventory control of assets and monitors customer requirements/inquiries. Analyzes data to determine and lead inventory change requirements. Analyzes information and coordinates with others to determine maintenance, repair and/or corrective action. Develops and/or improves processes and/or solutions for inventory management and control, including root cause analyses. Interacts with external customers and internal organizations to facilitate logistics requirements, including emergent spares supply chain requirements. Supports strategic resourcing activities. Coordinates make or buy decisions with appropriate disciplines to establish, implement and sustain capabilities and sources of supply. Coordinates and documents movement of assets and components through the supply chain management cycle. Works under minimal direction and has avid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Product Support Supply Chain

Typical Education/Experience



Level 3 - Bachelor's and related work experience, a Master's degree and related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information



An ability to obtain an interim and/or final clearance (post-start) is required for this position. Maintains synchronization of a supply chain between various organizations, customers, and suppliers by managing inventory systems, simulation and modeling forecasting data, ordering from procurement contracts and managing spares delivery scheduling systems. Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic and warehousing. Applies technical standards, principals, theories, concepts and techniques of SCM to increasingly complex bills of material (BOM). Monitors, evaluates, and recommends processes to improve shop and supplier adherence to schedule. Analyzes process and production data and negotiates with both internal and external customers and suppliers to resolve conflicts and gain consensus on such complex issues as relationships among processes, costs, schedules and impact on production flow. Authorizes revisions to the materials management plan and deviations from inventory management guidelines. Interprets and implements new industry-wide developments. Guides and educates other organizations on materials management principles and concepts. Determines new or revised requirements. Integrates the production plan, manufacturing and master production schedules, supplier delivery, BOM structures, inventory records and routing, and monitors and analyzes their performance. Defines and implements problem resolutions and process improvements. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, solving day-to-day supply chain problems, collecting and analyzing supply & maintenance data for tactical decision-making, prioritizing tasks, executing Asset Management best practices, ensuring adherence to common supply chain procedures and determining and coordinating continuous supply chain process improvement opportunities. Must be capable of creating and interpreting next action(s) after reviewing any detailed analysis of manufacturing BOM's of both Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) large orders and Sub-assembly orders. Knowledge of Boeing's Tooling system, drawing release process, MES, IMACS, Shop Floor Control, and all areas related to Delivery Support, including knowledge of MS2 and Microsoft Office, is a plus.
