Coordinates activities to support the accurate inventory control of assets and monitors customer requirements/inquiries. Use established processes and tools to determine inventory replenish requirements. Coordinates with others to determine maintenance, repair and/or corrective action vendors for material. The candidate shall be able to interface in English and Italian both written and spoke to support the material support requirements for the site. With limited direct oversight the candidate shall use English language tools to order material, conduct recalls, establish repairs, and determine new material requirements. The candidate shall have direct contact with other members of the SCM team in USA, and with suppliers located in Germany, USA and Italy. Candidate should be familiar with international logistics services, material management, and inventory control.

Can execute the initiatives developed from supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction).

Is able to implement the unique aspects of inventory planning and control processes (e.g., Lot sizes, Work in Process [WIP], Inventory Burndown, modifications, out of production, Kanban, Just In Time [JIT], Kitting, Point of Use [POU], inventory turn rate) to support planned and unplanned requirements.

Typical Education/Experience

 

Bachelor's degree with 3 years related work experience or Master's degree with one year related experience.
