Staff Engineer and Analyst. Conduct key SE efforts including development of architectural trades and alternatives for complex systems. Performs requirements analysis, functional analysis, requirements allocation, trade studies, design evaluations, and generates system/segment requirements specifications. Also serves as SE technical liaison with customer, subcontractor, and co-contractor representatives. Some travel required.

Typical Education/Experience



Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and related experience, Master's with related experience or PhD with related experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 5 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's with related experience, Master's with related experience or PhD with related experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Other Job related information



The successful candidate must have a broad engineering or scientific background and demonstrated capability in multidiscipline engineering tasks (EE, ME, SW Engineering) and demonstrated technical leadership with mission experience. Must have experience in developing system architectures based on customer operational requirements and objectives and derviving system/segment requirements. Experience in leading discussions as a subject matter expert with customers, associate contractors, peer groups, etc. is required. Proven understanding of the SE process, primarily in the areas of functional and performance requirements derivation. The position requires eligibility to live and work in United States and a current SSBI. AIS-MS0134.
