The candidate will be responsible for leading a test team in the planning of, execution of and reporting of on-aircraft airworthiness or mission systems test activities in support of the P-8A SDD Flight Test Program. Primary responsibilities will include: The development and generation of detailed flight test plans, for the daily flight test execution of mission systems, airworthiness or weapons separation testing and the reporting of test results. Daily test execution includes the integration of on-aircraft ground and flight tests; development of detailed test cards for each test, conducting pre-flight and post-flight team de-briefs and conducting flights in accordance with the USN issued flight clearances and operational limitations. The individual will be responsible for aircraft configuration management to support testing, the tracking of test points and for the reporting of test results. The Test Conductor will be responsible to integrate all aspects of the tests including test resources and ranges including the coordination to acquire necessary USN flight clearances. The individual will be required to coordinate technical requirements with Boeing engineering IPTs and USN Competencies. The Test Conductor will reside on the P-8A Boeing / USN Integrated Test Team and report to either the Boeing Airworthiness or Mission Systems Flight Test Team Leader. Initial support will be at Boeing Field in Seattle, until completion of the first flight of the aircraft and then transitions to NAS Patuxent River, Maryland as the primary test site.

Other Job related information
This posting is for multiple positions supporting the P-8A airworthiness and or mission systems testing. The individual must have experience in developmental mission systems, airworthiness or weapon systems flight testing and the ability to lead a test team in the execution of on aircraft testing. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and leadership skills are required to successfully interface with USN customer counterparts and Boeing P-8A IPT personnel. Experience at NAS Patuxent River, MD and an understanding of USN test instructions and processes is desired. The candidate must have demonstrated experience in developing detailed test points from system level specification requirements, test planning, execution and reporting of test results. This position will include flying on-board the P-8A aircraft during testing and thus requires the ability to obtain Military or FAA medical certification, successfully complete aviation physiological and altitude chamber training, limited life support / emergency egress and water survival training.
