Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. is seeking an electronics technician with working knowledge of analog and/or digital electronic circuits. The ideal candidate will have a background of testing and troubleshooting at a component level with the aid of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) software and knowledge of cellular communications; Radio Frequency (RF) background with Basic Computer Networking skills is a plus. The candidate must be able to operate computers with test equipment, and follow test procedures, read and understand the flow of a schematic in a RF circuitry with an analog application and/or working knowledge of EPLDs, FPGAs, and other logic signal devices in a digital application. Digital Receiver Technology (DRT), based in Germantown, Maryland, designs and manufactures high performance receivers and transceivers for the wireless test, SIGINT, and law enforcement markets. DRT was acquired by The Boeing Company in December 2008.

General/Precision Test & Meas
Basic - General knowledge of and demonstrates an ability to use general and precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.).
Preferred - Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and precision measuring devices (e.g., Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR), multimeters, oscilloscopes, noise/bus/logic/spectrum analyzers, calipers, micrometers, etc.) and associated calibration requirements.
Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
The desired candidate would be a graduate of an accredited electronics school or have military equivalent.
