This is an operational licensing position in the United States for a major global aerospace company reporting to Global Trade Controls, Export Administration. The candidate will support Global Strike Systems whose product lines are utilized by several countries around the world. The candidate will implement trade policies and write export/import controls authorizations. The candidate will work to gather information and assist with analysis to determine short and long-term import/export authorization requirements for the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other government agencies. Additional key responsibilities include: Assists with administrative support, fact-finding and data analysis to support compliance investigation. Reviews, analyzes and coordinates import/export authorization requests. Submits export applications in accordance with procedures. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies. Identifies critical and less critical activities and tasks, adjusts priorities when appropriate. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting export and import activities. Ability to recognize the need to research and investigate laws and regulations.

Typical Education/Experience

 

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
