UK/USA SALES & OPERATIONS MANAGER - LONDON - SALES

Our client is the world’s first provider of fully integrated luxury transport – the one-stop shop solution for Private Jets, Helicopters, Yachts and Limousines. They operate three divisions – ‘Charter’, ‘Fractions & Block Hours’, and ‘Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions’. Our client is a young, energetic fast-growing company that has doubled its turnover each year since its foundation in 2004. It is positioned as both a global private aviation and VIP transportation company, and a luxury brand aiming for the leader position in the market place.

The Position:

They are looking for a UK / USA Sales & Operations Senior Manager to join their experienced and motivated team.

The UK / USA Sales & Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for generating new business revenue from both High Net Worth Individuals and Corporate Organisations across a range of industry sectors including Finance, Energy and Property in the UK & USA regions. You will liaise with the marketing team to organize sale campaigns and work towards acquiring new clients by employing various marketing & sales methods.

You will manage and grow 150 UK / USA accounts to reach turnover of £3m for this region in 2010.

The ideal candidate will have experience and competency in the following areas:

• Minimum 10 years management, sales or operations experience
• Excellent communication skills and experience in managing a sales and operations team
• A strong understanding and experience of the private aviation industry, and the ability to develop the UK / USA region for our client
• Background in selling products and/or services in the $50,000+ range - or selling to high net worth individuals
• Can demonstrate success in building and maintaining an established client base in the private aviation or similar industry, with 50+ accounts from £10k to £300k
• Highly motivated and well organised
• Professional attitude and demeanor
• Excellent problem solving skills for operations
• Strong contacts with either HNWI or Corporations
• Foreign language skills are a plus but not a necessity

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing a targeted Sales & Marketing Strategy to develop the UK/USA region for our client
• Managing 150 existing UK/USA accounts, and developing existing client relationships
• Micro-managing top 25 UK/USA accounts to generate increased business revenues
• Generating new business and acquiring new clients for the region, including active sales, client liaison and networking activities
• Working with Marketing to manage passive sales activities and develop targeted campaigns to generate new business
• Develop and implement active sales plans to generate new business
• Managing use of SalesLogix IT tool to increase service efficiency and support regional sales growth
• Minimum £15-£20k of sales margin per month
• Manage all aspects of charter transactions from prospecting through to closure
• Develop and maintain relationships with limousine, helicopter, yacht and jet providers in UK and USA
• Working with Managing Director to build up ‘Fractional Ownership & Block Hours’ Division to generate additional revenues for the region
• Weekly reporting to Managing Director & Founder,
• Quarterly reporting on market and regional situation to the group

The ideal candidate’s CV should show a proven track record of exceeding targets.

This position will suit a well presented, credible, sales professional with excellent communication skills who is comfortable liaising with HNWI and CEO level management.
