VPM Implementation Specialist/Developer

My client is currently looking for an experienced VPM Implementation Specialist/Developer to provide support to a well known Aerospace company in the South West of England.

The successful applicant will be primarily be developing and implementing updates to the client's data management solution. It is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of VPM and the development components, as well as reasonable systems knowledge and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.

Technologies Involved:

VPM
Database/SQL
C/C++
CNext
Scripting
Technical Skills Required

Strong technical knowledge of VPM application, including API
C / C++
UNIX scripting
Database (Oracle and/or DB2)
Programming Skills
Basic Systems Administration
Business Skills Required



Experience working within teams
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in respect to time and quality of work
Ability to travel in the UK and European wide. This role may need to be based in a single location for weeks / months
Knowledge of the engineering industry - Aerospace preferred however Automotive is acceptable
Please note, this is a permanent role within my client however it will be based at client sites primarily in the South West of England and in Italy. Ability to travel for long periods of time is required.
