Role – Landing Gear Engineers
Job Description
Airbus is looking for engineers with a comprehensive understanding of system engineering processes to work within its Landing Gear function. This role is responsible for the structural integrity of landing gear and associated equipment, specifically for aircraft development and research and technology, as well as managing the interface between suppliers and internal functions.
Successful applicants will have a relevant engineering degree and a proven track record of supplier management. Your excellent team working skills will ensure your team is highly motivated and your understanding of lean principles will enable you to support continuous improvement initiatives to increase team and business efficiency. 
Additional Tasks for Lead Positions
• Operating as an approval signatory for stress.
• Providing technical leadership and approval for team members, new participants, supply base and other sub-contracted work.
• Undertaking, when required, appropriate associated project management tasks.
Your first-rate negotiating and communication abilities will ensure strong internal and external customer management. A good working knowledge of standard software, such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access, is also relevant.

Role – Configuration Managers
Job Description
Airbus is looking for engineers to join its Configuration Management team, which controls, monitors and records the build standard of an Airbus product from the conceptual phase to completion of manufacture. The Configuration Manager role ensures quality assurance throughout the life cycle of a product by managing and controlling what is being developed and produced. It has an impact on all Airbus activities, from product development, engineering and manufacturing through to project, programme and quality management. 
You will support the Head of Product Development and provide day-to-day guidance and direction on configuration management issues to the engineering community. Additionally you will be involved in the creation and development of configuration management processes and establish associated control systems. 
Successful applicants will have a degree in engineering or other relevant technical disciplines and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to act autonomously. A CMII qualification and systems integration or engineering background is preferable, as well as an awareness of generic configuration management principles and change control systems. 
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to communicate configuration baselines to all stakeholders, besides providing support to transnational teams and working groups.
