The role will lead and develop the sales team, the current accounts and to increase revenue generated through charter sales and long term corporate contracts.
The operation and aircraft are established and successful. 
The role requires an individual with an excellent sales record. Ideally within helicopter charter however candidates with a background in commercial or corporate jet charter will also be considered. The role will involve a large amount of flying within Africa and you must have a track record with selling in multi cultural environments. 
The position requires the candidate to:
• Identify, design and implement the sales and marketing strategy, based on knowledge of company’s objectives, market characteristics and cost and mark up factors.
• Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote services of the company.
• Negotiate and close long-term contracts while balancing company objectives and offering customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and evaluate the aviation services markets and trends, and identify and quantify relevant opportunities.
• Increase the company’s sales revenue and achieve given targets agreed with the MD. 
Developing the charter sales team, networking, selling and influencing at Board level are key areas to this role. With huge potential to generate profit for the company and so the OTE is excellent.
