The operation is based on quality not quantity, with no more than six aircraft within their charter and managed fleet. 
With a large number of loyal and regular customers who both own and charter their aircraft that are at the very top end of this industry. Customers include heads of state, royalty and high net worth individuals not affected by the economical downturn.
The position is a 12 month contract and is based at their Operations centre in the South East of England. 
The role is not shift based however you must have a flexible attitude as you will be needed to be contactable 24/7. The role has full responsibility of every aspect of this operation including every aircraft, customer and charter. 
• The successful candidate will have an excellent technical knowledge, at least five years in the corporate jet market ideally with long haul aircraft and with first class problem solving, customer service and communication skills.
• The operational and management team is small. Previous management experience in operations is essential and the ability to work to tight deadlines and within regulations and requirements of the operating authority.
• Experience of ground and flight operations management within the executive jet industry is a must.
• You will have an excellent knowledge of international long haul flight planning and scheduling.
• Ensure all operations 24/7 365 are run smoothly and effectively.
• Determine all flight ops standard practices are in line with all national and international regulations and with the provisions of the AOC.
• Ensure the highest standard of safety, punctuality, confidentiality, passenger comfort &amp; trust.
• Determine the usability of areas and airways to be utilised for the company’s flight operations, and to establish minimum flight requirements.
• The successful applicant will have gained many years experience in a similar role and be familiar with all aspects of Operations, Rostering, Crewing and Hotac within a European corporate aircraft operator so as to have an understanding of JAR Ops.

Main Purposes of Position
This role is key in creating and maintaining accurate technical logs, records and aircraft schedules for the fleet within Engineering and Maintenance Business Dept. 
In ensuring the quality programme is maintained, all aspects of technical records, technical library, planning and scheduling must be completed in compliance with the appropriate external regulatory authorities. 
To receive work packs from engineers and transcribe the information into technical records/logs, inputting and populating the computerised system.
To create technical records for new aircraft and update existing logs on a timely basis, within deadlines prescribed by authorities.
To raise task cards or work packs, verification of task cards and updating of computer systems.
To liaise with engineers and check information supplied in work packs to ensure that correct information is inputted into computerised technical records. 
Maintain records and develop initiatives as required. To ensure aircraft tracking is maintained, with updating of aircraft hours, log books, technical logs and component change coding.
To create records in the new computerised system for CAA &amp; FAA accreditation, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Transfer records from old computer system so that operation is totally within the new system.
To continuously improve and maintain processes within technical records.
To calculate aircraft flight times against regulatory demands and create schedule of plan for aircraft maintenance.
Working within the Technical Records team, undertake other duties such as maintaining the technical library.
