This entails the following:
- Lead, plan and project manage tasks from initial concept through to successful completion and delivery to time, cost and quality;
- Provide Technical Leadership to ensure deliverables meet technical requirements;
- Develop the Engineering plans and resource requirements including skill mix to deliver Engineering objective whilst supporting development needs;
- Participate actively in the integration and optimisation of the component across Engineering procurement and manufacture;
- Support Improvement Projects and so drive cost savings.
As the successful candidate you should have a sound and broad Engineering background preferably in a structural environment and ideally a degree or HND/HNC in a relevant Engineering field and a minimum of 3 working years experience.
You will also be able to demonstrate;
- Project management and leadership skills ideally with track record for delivering Engineering and/or improvement programmes;
- Working knowledge of detailed Engineering processes;
- Experience in an Operational Engineering team;
