These skill sets combined with knowledge of UK Defence airspace planning in a joint and coalition setting, and some technical level knowledge of associated network, sensors and communications will complement the current cross-domain military experience already present in the team enabling deeper simulation-based warfare analysis to occur.
The role will require the successful candidate to take ownership of, and operate a number of advanced airspace C2 modelling and simulation tools as part of the federation of warfare simulations and supporting tools in the PORTAL. The core purpose of the role is to simulate elements of the current and future military airspace network as well as representing the effects of the wider strategic coalition and partner communications system in the PORTAL analysis environment in order to identify and more deeply understand better solutions to technical and operation problems. This position may also involve significant internal support to major Boeing Projects, for example, providing network modelling and analysis to support the systems engineering processes and technical risk reduction efforts. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager AMSE UK in carrying out the PORTAL Analysis teams role of providing advanced concepts analysis and decision support using various advanced simulation tools.
