They now have a requirement for PCB layout designer in Hertfordshire.
Senior Engineer (PCB Layout)
ROLE PURPOSE: To provide PCB Layouts to the requirements of the Electronics Designer 
DIRECTORATE: Operations
REPORTS TO: TECHNICAL LEAD
Define the role's specific responsibilities i.e. what is must deliver.
" Provide PCB Layouts (simple to complex, including micro-via) to time, cost and quality requirements
" Provide manufacturing data-packs to the PCB supplier
" Provide assembly data- packs to the PCB Assembler 
" Contribute to process improvement within the PCB Layout Team
" Contribute to International functional improvement activities (mainly between France and the UK) requiring travel to France and possibly Italy.
" Maintain knowledge and develop skills in the area of PCB Layout to continuously improve contribution
PROBLEM SOLVING CHALLENGES
Define the particular difficulties/issues that that need to be overcome to successfully carry out the role.
" Provide PCB Layout Solutions to complex requirements.
" Maintain and develop effective interface to local customers
" Working to tight or critical timescales

Technical skills in the following areas are required:-
" Design of complex PCB Layouts (rigid, Flexi-Rigid, Flexible, microvia etc.).
" Layouts to be compliant to High Speed/Signal Integrity design constraints as required.
" Knowledge of PCB materials, design for manufacture/assembly etc.
" Knowledge of PCB manufacture and assembly processes
Competence in one or more of the following:-
" The use of Zuken CR5000 PCB Layout and related tools.
" For legacy purposes the use of Mentor Board-station PCB Layout tool.
