You will be responsible for:
• Routine inspection, rectification, servicing, maintenance and certification of QantasLink Dash 8 aircraft; 
• Performing aircraft maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and company specification to a very high standard and ensuring compliance with Company Policy and Procedures and Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations; 
• Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of the Company, maintenance control manuals, manufactures aircraft maintenance manuals and relevant procedure manuals; and 
• Recording and certification of all maintenance activities in a clear and concise manner as required by Civil Aviation Regulations and QantasLink policy. 
To be successful in this role you will display: 
• Aircraft servicing experience in a heavy/line maintenance environment; 
• A relevant CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence for the Dash 8 aircraft is essential. Applicants without the Dash 8 ratings need not apply; 
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures; 
• Commitment to being a be highly customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required; 
• Sound communications skills, both written and verbal; 
• Highly developed attention to detail; and 
• Ability to work shift work.
