    Avianca Brazil has announced the launch of a new Airbus A318 operated daily nonstop route connecting Sao Paulo (Guarulhos) with Maceió in Brazil's northeast.Operations will begin on 27 October with a schedule that will allow residents of Maceio same-day return flights to Sao Paulo as the aircraft will stay overnight in Maceio.Avianca already operates a one-stop flight from Sao Paulo to Maceio, via Salvador de Bahia.
