<p>On 31 March in Albania a US Air Force Lockheed Martin C-130 crashed into high ground at night about 100km (60 miles) south of Tirana, killing all nine people on board. Meanwhile, an Aerocaribbean Ilyushin Il-18 with 93 people on board overran the runway at Caracas Maquieta airport, Venezuela on 28 March when the crew aborted take-off following an engine failure.
