    <body lang=EN-US style='tab-interval:.5in'> <div class=Section1> <p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>An apparent hijacking involving a Cuban Douglas DC-3 passenger aircraft has ended peacefully in Florida.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>News reports from the USA quote FBI and FAA officials as saying it appears the aircraft, carrying 29 passengers and six crewmembers, was hijacked while on a domestic flight in Cuba.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>Some reports say the aircraft was being operated by local carrier Aerotaxi.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>The reports say military aircraft were scrambled when the DC-3 approached Florida at around 20:00 US eastern time.
