    <body lang=EN-US style='tab-interval:.5in'> <div class=Section1> <p class=MsoNormal>Air Wisconsin’s order today for up to 150 Bombardier CRJ200s has helped persuade the manufacturer to increase its 50-seat CRJ production rate by two aircraft a month.</p> <p class=MsoNormal>Bombardier plans to raise production of 50-seat CRJs – now almost entirely CRJ200s - from the current monthly rate of 12.5 to 14.5 in its 2003 financial year, which begins on 1 February 2002, “on the strength of new orders and a large backlog of 551 aircraft”.</p> <p class=MsoNormal>In its 2003 fiscal year Bombardier plans to build 165 50-seat CRJs – equivalent to an average monthly rate of 13.75 throughout the 12 months – and to increase the CRJ200 production rate further to 174 aircraft in its 2004 fiscal year.
