    <BODY LINK="#0000ff" VLINK="#800080"> <P>Mexican regional carrier Aerocaribe is to lease five Jetstream 32EPs from British Aerospace Asset Management, and will begin receiving the aircraft in the second half of this year.</P> <P>The Cancun-based airline will use three of the 19-seat J32EPs to replace half of its six-strong Fairchild FH-227 turboprop fleet. It also operates six McDonnell Douglas DC-9-15s and two Cessna Grand Caravans.</P> <P>Part of the CINTRA group and a Mexicana Inter affiliate, Aerocaribe aims eventually to serve 26 destinations and has its main hubs at Merida, Cancun, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Villahermosa and Veracruz. International routes include Belize, Tikal in Guatemala, and Havana and Varadero in Cuba.</P> <P>Meanwhile, another Mexican carrier, Uruapan-based Aero Cuahonte, has purchased a J32EP from Asset Management, to add to its fleet of two Cessna types and a single Fairchild Metro II.</P></BODY>
