Aviation Video: Airbus A330-300 - Northwest Airlines08/11/2009Takeoff from Amsterdam aboard Northwest flight 47 to Detroit. Flight time short 8hrs15min. So far the best transatlantic flight I've had, mainly due to the AVOD system on board, and the short immigration lines at Detroit upon arrival. We landed approximately 7pm. right when the sun was setting.

Weather was overcast on departure thus making for a nice transition above the clouds. For a part of our flight we had an American 757 off our left which we slowly overtook. Landing in San Juan is also posted.

Aviation Video: Airbus A330-300 - Northwest Airlines08/11/2009One of the nicest of all transatlantic flights nearing its completion after spending 8hrs in the air. Very smooth approach although the pilot seemed to be using a lot of aileron. Touchdown was a little rough.
