- Aviation Video: Antonov An-124 - Polet Airlines08/11/2009Rare visit to LGB. Note personnel on field. Everyone wanted to see this bird land. It was delivering a satellite to Boeing s Sea Launch operation at the Port of Long Beach. This was the first visit since 2001. This was a high cross wind landing (note crabbing at the beginning of the video).

Pilot was directed to turn left on to 7L (note signage) but missed it and spectators were provided with a REALLY up close view. Despite the application of thrust to make the turn, we were not hit by the jet blast due to the high cross wind.
