Australian International Airshow 2009

The 9th Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition will be held at Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria from 10-15 March 2009.

Held biennially since 1992, Avalon 2009 is expected to be the largest event yet, with a new exhibition pavilion being added in 2009 to accommodate the expansion, while associated industry and technology conferences, seminars and symposia will also be held in Melbourne and Geelong during show week.

The last show in 2007 achieved record outcomes, with total attendance in excess of 180,000 which included participation by over 600 exhibitor companies from 20 nations, while more than 450 aircraft were on show, ranging from commercial, corporate and military aircraft, to business, general aviation, sport and recreational craft.
