    <P>Bombardier Aerospace has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chailease Finance, a finance leasing company in Taiwan, to broaden the availability of the Canadian manufacturer's aircraft in Southeast Asia.</P> <P>Potential business contracts resulting from the MOU between Bombardier customers and Chailease will each be finalised on a case-by-case basis, says Bombardier, which confirms the deal. </P> <P>Chailease Finance is the subsidiary of the Taiwanese leasing giant Chailease Holding and supports commercial and corporate aircraft as well as helicopters, according to its website.</P> <P>Parent company Chailease Holding posted an improved net profit of NT$1.38 billion (US$46.62 million) for the first quarter of this year, compared with a profit of NT$845.55 million in the year-earlier period. </P>http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/Bombardier-signs-MOU-with-Chailease-to-boost-leases-in-SE-Asia-385237/
