    It may be playing catch up with Boeing on widebodies, but in the single-aisle market Airbus has a clear head-start on its rival. While Seattle dithered about its narrowbody strategy at the turn of the decade, Airbus committed in 2010 to re-powering its existing A320 family with a choice of two engines.
