  • FLIGHT TEST: Gulfstream goes farther and faster with G650ER

    News | 06 Mar 2015 11:24 | Mike Gerzanics

It has been over ten years since I flew a large cabin Gulfstream when, I was awed by the G550’s ability to fly eight passengers in comfort over 12,500km (6,760nm). With the clean sheet G650 Gulfstream has advanced the state of the art in several areas. Since it received FAA certification in September  2012, over 100 examples of the large cabin ultra-long range twin jet have been delivered. The G650ER is an enhanced range version of the G650, offering sumptuous accommodations and a 925km range increase. When Flight International was offered an opportunity to fly the G650ER, I was excited to see just how far Gulfstream had raised the bar over the last decade.http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/FLIGHT-TEST-Gulfstream-goes-farther-and-faster-with-G650ER-409557/
