  • Dana Air flight crashes in Lagos


    <P>A commercial flight operated by <A href="http://www.flydanaair.com/" target=_new>Dana&nbsp;Air</A> has reportedly crashed in the Nigerian city of Lagos.</P> <P>Lagos state police have confirmed the aircraft came down in the Iju neighbourhood, north of the city's Murtala Muhammed Airport.</P> <P>Images of the crash site suggest the aircraft crashed in a built up area with the aircraft bursting into flames upon impact.</P> <P>According to <A href="http://pro.flightglobal.com/Pages/Profiles/Airlines/FleetSummary.aspx?AirID=-23071">Flightglobal&nbsp;Pro's database</A> Dana Air operates a fleet of five Boeing MD-80 aircraft.</P> <P>The weather at the time of the crash was overcast.</P> <P>More to follow ...</P>
